Glen of The Downs Golf Club
Parkland Course in Delgany, Northern Ireland
Glen of The Downs Golf Course, designed by Peter McEvoy, was a parkland course established in 1998 in County Wicklow, set amidst scenic views. The layout featured distinctive elements such as a five-tier double green shared by the 8th and 10th holes, and was known for its undulating greens and numerous bunkers. While it offered a challenging round with panoramic mountain and sea views, the club ceased operations and went into liquidation in 2017, with the company dissolved in 2020. It was not known as a venue for Open Championship Qualifying.
