Dunfanaghy Golf Club is a links course located in Dunfanaghy, County Donegal, Ireland, on the western shores of Sheephaven Bay. Designed by Harry Vardon and opened in 1905, it is an 18-hole, par 68 course that offers views of Killahoey Beach, Sheephaven Bay, Horn Head, and Muckish Mountain. The course is playable year-round due to its sand-based, free-draining nature and is considered an enjoyable challenge for golfers of all abilities. Notably, Ryder Cup Captain Paul McGinley learned to play golf here and remains an honorary member. Facilities include a pro shop, restaurant, bar, changing rooms, lockers, putting green, chipping green, practice bunker, and a driving range added recently.
