County Louth Golf Club, affectionately known as 'Baltray', is a historic and highly-regarded links course situated in County Louth, near Drogheda, Ireland. Established in 1892, the championship course, predominantly shaped by the 1938 redesign from Tom Simpson and Molly Gourlay and later modified by Tom Alister MacKenzie, is celebrated for providing a pure and equitable examination of links golf. This 18-hole, par 72 layout spans over 7,000 yards from the championship tees and is set out in two distinct nine-hole loops, with each hole presenting a unique direction and challenge. Consistently ranked among Ireland's premier golf destinations, the club has a rich history of hosting major tournaments, including the Irish Open. The facility offers comprehensive practice amenities, including a driving range, putting greens, chipping greens, and a practice bunker.
