Castlecomer Golf Club, located in Drumgoole, Castlecomer, County Kilkenny, Ireland, is a parkland course designed by Pat Ruddy. The club was founded in 1935 and extended to 18 holes, completed in 2002 or 2003, with the redevelopment overseen by Ruddy. The course is set in a 200-year-old forest on the former Wandesforde Estate, offering views of the surrounding countryside. Thirteen new holes were incorporated into the layout with sand-based fairways and USGA standard tees and greens. It was ranked No. 88 in Ireland by Golf Digest Ireland in 2009 and voted into the top 100 golf courses in Ireland in 2006. The course is open year-round, with only the most severe weather impacting play. Facilities include a modern clubhouse with a bar, coffee shop, and restaurant, a pro shop, practice range, and putting green. The course is 6175 meters (6753 yards) in length with a par of 72.
