Bunclody Golf & Fishing Club (Bunclody)
Parkland Course in Bunclody, Northern Ireland
Nestled in the picturesque Slaney River valley on the border of Counties Carlow and Wexford, Bunclody Golf and Fishing Club presents a modern parkland test designed by Canadian architect Jeff Howes. Opened in 2009 within the historic Hall-Dare Estate, the course takes full advantage of the natural topography, featuring notable elevation changes and routing that brings the River Slaney into play on both nines. A distinctive feature is the elevator transporting golfers from the 17th green to the 18th tee, offering a final vista before the concluding hole. The design incorporates a diverse range of holes, moving between open, undulating land and tighter tree-lined corridors along the riverbanks.
