Designed by Pat Ruddy and Tom Craddock, the course opened in 1989 and is integrated into 130 acres, incorporating natural features like woodlands, streams, and lakes with views of the Cooley Mountains. The course is a par 68, with varying lengths from different tees, and welcomes visitors daily. On-site lodging is available at the Ballymascanlon Hotel.
