Ballyliffin - Old Links

Ballyliffin Golf Club, located in Inishowen, Co. Donegal, Northern Ireland, is a world-class links complex featuring two championship courses: The Old Links and Glashedy Links, as well as the more recent nine-hole Pollan Links. [3, 4] The Old Links, established in 1947 with the current 18-hole layout opening in 1973, is a classic links course known for its natural undulating terrain. [9, 11, 13, 16, 20, 22, 24, 25] It was originally designed with contributions from Eddie Hackett, Charles Lawrie, Frank Pennink, and members, with later significant changes by Pat Ruddy and Tom Craddock during the routing of the Glashedy Links, and upgrades by Nick Faldo in 2005/2006. [4, 11, 15, 18, 20, 24] The par-71 course measures around 6,937 yards from the back tees. [4, 9, 13, 16, 20] Ballyliffin is renowned for its hospitality, spectacular setting, and outstanding facilities, including a driving range, pitching green, putting green, and a pro shop.
