Athy Golf Club
Parkland Course in Athy, Northern Ireland
Athy Golf Club, established in 1906, is a parkland course situated in County Kildare. Originally a 9-hole layout, it was extended to 18 holes in 1993. The course, designed by Jeff Howes, incorporates mature trees, undulating terrain, and a stream. Recent development work has added bunkers and adjusted teeing grounds to enhance the challenge. The closing stretch of holes is particularly noted for its difficulty. While a solid parkland test, it is not recognized as a venue for Open Championship Qualifying.
