Portmarnock Golf Club, located on a peninsula in County Dublin, Ireland, is a renowned links course established in 1894. It boasts 27 holes, with the Championship course being 18 holes with a par of 72 and a length of around 7,466 yards from the back tees. The course, designed by W.C. Pickeman and later with additions by Fred Hawtree and significant recent work by Jeff Lynch, is known for its natural terrain, strategic pot bunkers, and challenging finish. It has hosted numerous prestigious events, including multiple Irish Opens, the Walker Cup, and the Canada Cup. Portmarnock offers practice facilities including a driving range, chipping green, and putting green, as well as a pro shop and restaurant. Caddies and golf club rentals are available, while motor carts are generally restricted to members with medical reasons. The club welcomes visitors with some restrictions on playing days and times, and a handicap limit is in place.
