Established in 1907 on the historic McMurrough Kavanagh estate, Borris Golf Club stands as one of Ireland's older golfing establishments. This mature parkland course, set at the foot of Mount Leinster, offers a challenging tree-lined layout. While fundamentally a 9-hole course, the ingenious use of alternate tees provides golfers with the impression and variety of playing a full 18 holes. The course is known for its scenic views and requires strategic play, with trees often influencing shot selection. The clubhouse maintains an old-world charm and offers a warm welcome.
