Barnsley Golf Club, also known as The Limes, is a parkland course established in 1925 in South Yorkshire, England. The course, which plays to a par of 69, is not overly long at around 6000 yards from the white tees, making it accessible for a variety of golfers. However, it is known for having some of the trickiest and most undulating greens in Yorkshire, demanding a precise short game. The finishing holes are also noted as being particularly challenging. While not a well-known championship venue, it offers a friendly atmosphere and a good test of putting.
